EDUCATION & LITERACY 

Education is at the heart of everything we do. In many rural and underserved areas, access to quality education remains a distant dream. The YB Foundation works to dismantle these barriers by offering inclusive, learner-centered educational programs that prepare children and youth for life in a changing world. From foundational literacy to tertiary support, we believe education is the most powerful tool for change.

Our education goals include improving access to quality, inclusive, and sustainable education.

GIRLS' EMPOWERMENT 

Many adolescent girls and young women in rural communities face deep-rooted barriers that hinder their personal and educational development. Through our EmpowHer initiative, we provide safe spaces for girls to grow in confidence, learn about their rights, and unlock their full potential.

Our empowerment goals include supporting the independence and wellbeing of girls through mentorship, reproductive health education, leadership development, and access to social and economic opportunities.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP 

Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders, but only if they are equipped with the tools, opportunities, and confidence to lead with vision and compassion. We work to reignite a sense of purpose and possibility in young people by reconnecting them with their communities through sport, the arts, civic engagement, and service learning.

Our youth leadership goals include developing socially aware, physically active, & community-driven young leaders who are engaged in shaping their future and that of their communities.
